December 2019, my partner and I embarked on a month-long adventure through Chile. Beginning in the city of Santiago, we traversed contrasting landscapes from the Chilean Patagonia (Torres del Paine) to the Atacama desert. We travelled further south to see penguins on Isla Magdalena.

What struck me was the changing vibrancy and textures of the land.
