LEISURELY LONDON WANDERS
We had a few nice relaxing days just wandering around with our pals. These are the best days! One of the best activities was the Barbican Conservatory and getting to use my macro lens a bit. I love nature close up.
I knew Emilia wanted to go up the Shard, so we booked tickets to go see the panoramic views. It took 2 lifts to get to the top, which I think was the 68th or 72nd floor. It was pretty impressive, especially considering it was open air at the top. The toilets have a view too!
I had made a reservation at one of the restaurants I had been to previously, Manna, which I remembered having stupendous food. It did not disappoint this time either! The sticky toffee pudding is not to be missed!
DAY 4: SOUTHWARK PARK/RIVER SIDE WANDERS
DAY 5: THE BARBICAN CONSERVATORY
DAY 6: THE SHARPY POINTY BUILDING/MANNA RESTO
